if that’s your motto when looking for new books to read, then you are at the right place.
Nabila Fairuz firmly believes that there should be more stories about female pirate captains. Unsurprisingly, she made her debut with “The Chronicles of Captain Shelly Manhar,” an entertaining and lighthearted nautical fantasy. Her second book, a collection of short stories titled “The Philosophy of Sadness” made her realize her love for writing shorter pieces, redirecting her on the path to pen novellas, short stories, and poems.
Nabila loves conversing about the craft of writing, whether it be about haiku composing (still discovering Basho) or video game world-building (anyone wants to discuss Okami or Ghost of Tsushima?). She is currently writing two standalone fantasy novellas and hopes to publish her first collection of poems.
